OK Everyone so this is our first attempt at putting together a blog but we wanted to have a way for all of our friends and family to be able to follow us through this outstanding journey to bring Joaquin home to us from eastern Europe.

To say the least it has been a long and challenging journey thus far (and were still only mid way through) but every time we just look at his cute little face, we know it will all be so well worth it when it is all said and done.

We were lucky enough to cross off another item on our list this week as we finally are scheduled for our biometrics background checks with USCIS and are that much closer to getting our 797 certificate which is the last item for our dossier.

We are really hoping things move quickly so we can meet our special little guy in person.
